Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer to join our growing cloud infrastructure team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing large-scale, secure, and scalable cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, CI / CD pipelines , and security best practices , along with the ability to collaborate with various technology groups and act as a cloud advocate across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment tools.
- Perform cloud architecture design, systems engineering , and infrastructure automation for AWS environments.
- Implement and automate IaaS and PaaS services, ensuring best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide cloud strategy , including governance, identity management, and operational controls.
- Create infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible , etc.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to enable DevOps adoption and optimize internal processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud migrations, cost optimization, and architectural enhancements.
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and proactively improving system resilience.
- Lead CI / CD pipeline enhancements for faster, safer, and more predictable software delivery.
- Continuously research and recommend new technologies to enhance infrastructure and delivery processes.
- Host internal meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions, acting as a cloud ambassador within the organization.
- Ensure full compliance with AWS security practices and regulatory requirements through robust monitoring and governance.
Technical Requirements
Proven experience in architecting and deploying large-scale AWS hybrid environmentsDeep knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, and EKSHands-on experience with DevOps tools : Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, AWS CodePipeline, Nexus, ArtifactoryProficiency with automation and configuration tools : Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, ChefStrong knowledge of networking fundamentals : VPNs, DNS, subnets, NAT, route tables, ALB / NLB, GSLBStrong understanding of cloud security, identity management , and monitoring best practicesHands-on experience with container platforms : Kubernetes (EKS / AKS), Docker, FargateExperience with monitoring / alerting tools : Grafana, Zabbix, CloudWatch, Site24x7, Sumologic, PagerDuty, NagiosHigh proficiency in Linux administrationStrong scripting skills : Bash, Python, RubyExperience in CI / CD pipeline design and infrastructure provisioning for Dev, Test, and Prod environmentsExperience with Kubernetes namespaces, service discovery, and DNS integrationsProfessional Attributes
