About Airbound

Our mission is to make a world where everyone has access to delivery. Where goods move as freely as information moves today.

This is possible. Today the cost of moving on a scooter is ₹2 / km. That's the cost of moving a 150kg mass from point A to B. We're bringing that mass down to less than 5kgs, concurrently bringing the cost down to 10 paise / km. This is how we make deliveries a reality. This is how we create a world where we're doing billions of deliveries per day.

The tech is not there. The current cost of drone delivery is ₹100 / km. We need to completely redefine the way things are done here. We're building the world's most efficient aircraft from the ground-up, and scaling that up to beyond anything the aerospace sector has ever seen. This cannot be an iterative process. We have to tear down all conventions and build everything up from scratch.

To do this, we need nothing less than the best engineers. The ones who care about building something fundamentally different, who are deeply curious about understanding the fundamentals of everything they're working on, who are dreamers that believe in the impossible.

About Human Resources

From setting up the right infrastructure to enabling seamless internal logistics, from ensuring timely procurement to keeping compliance airtight — Admin is the silent force that ensures the company never loses momentum. This is a core enabling role if there ever was one.

About the Role

We're looking for a Recruitment Associate who's empathetic, people-savvy, and experienced in managing full-cycle hiring across technical and non-technical roles. You'll be the bridge between Airbound's teams and the exceptional talent we bring on board, ensuring every candidate experience is seamless, structured, and representative of our values. You'll work closely with hiring managers across composite engineering, hardware, firmware, software, and R&D, translating complex technical requirements into clear, actionable hiring strategies. This is a role for someone who enjoys understanding people as much as understanding the technologies they work on.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment : Manage sourcing, screening, and coordination across multiple functions — from composites engineering and manufacturing to R&D and operations.
  • Talent Sourcing : Identify, attract, and engage candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, relevant institutions and internal networks.
  • Interview Excellence : Conduct (un)structured interviews to assess both skill and culture fit, with strong ability to probe into technical and behavioural depth. Professional English language speaking is a must-have skill for this role.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, refine job descriptions, and align on evaluation criteria.
  • Process Ownership : Maintain accurate candidate pipelines, ensure timely follow-ups, and use data to report progress and identify bottlenecks.
  • Candidate Experience : Deliver a smooth, transparent, and positive recruitment journey from first contact to offer stage.
  • ATS & Tools : Leverage our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Google Workspace, and other digital tools to streamline hiring workflows.
  • Continuous Improvement : Contribute ideas to improve recruitment campaigns, sourcing strategy, and employer branding initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience : 2–4 years of hands-on recruitment experience, preferably in fast-paced, tech-driven organizations.
  • Communication : Exceptional English communication skills — articulate, confident, and empathetic in candidate interactions.
  • Technical Fluency : Comfortable hiring for hardware, firmware, and software engineering roles, with the ability to understand and communicate technical nuances.
  • Interview Skills : Strong judgment and interpersonal intuition; skilled at identifying both technical competency and cultural alignment. Professional English language speaking is a must-have skill for this role.
  • Tech-Savvy : Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and digital collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Sheets, Docs).
  • Detail-Oriented : Highly organized, process-driven, and capable of managing multiple requisitions efficiently.
  • Growth Mindset : Curious, adaptable, and excited to learn about new technologies and disciplines within Airbound's ecosystem.
