Job descriptionStrong command over AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, STAAD Pro. Good understanding of electrical, civil & mechanical integration in solar plants. Ability to lead a design team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
Role & responsibilities
- Lead and review detailed electrical, civil & structural design for ground mount solar PV systems.
- Prepare layout optimization, string design, shadow analysis, and cable routing.
- Develop SLDs, GA drawings, foundation drawings, and complete BOM.
- Ensure all designs comply with MNRE, IEC, IS, and other relevant standards.
- Coordinate with EPC, procurement, and execution teams for technical clarifications.
- Review structural designs of module mounting structures and foundations.
- Manage a team of design engineers and ensure timely project deliverables.
- Provide design inputs during tendering and proposal stages.
