Hours : Initially Monday - Friday 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm during training; Post training Friday - Tuesday

1 : 00 am to 9 : 30 am BST

Overall purpose of the job :

The Core Network Infrastructure team are responsible for all aspects of the ever-changing core

network infrastructure environment. This team are responsible for carrying out core network projects,

predominantly based on high-capacity connectivity, MPLS and Optical Transmission network

elements as well as providing advanced support to engineering operations team.

The role is based offshore and the working hours are aligned to overlap to a certain extent normal UK

working hours for cross-team communications as well as to cover out of hours maintenance windows

for network changes that cannot be executed during normal hours.

Key responsibilities for this job :

• To deliver assigned projects that may involve one or more of the below activities
• Network change related planning and remote execution activities
• Liaising with internal and external supplier teams as required
• Carry out software upgrades IP and Optical network elements during out of hours

maintenance windows
