Platform Engineer

Job descriptionStrong experience in REST API development and integration. Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.Js, or Python. Hands-on experience with Monday.Com APIs and Jira REST APIs. Familiarity with React.Js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks. Experience with database systems like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Understanding of OAuth 2.0, webhooks, and JSON data structures. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is an advantage. Experience with Atlassian Forge, Monday Apps Framework, or custom app development. Knowledge of Scriptrunner, Automation for Jira, or Monday.Com Automations. Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and Git.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations between Monday.Com and Jira using REST APIs and webhooks.
- Customize workflows, dashboards, and automation scripts within Monday.Com and Jira.
- Build and maintain reusable backend components using Node.Js / Python / Java.
- Develop lightweight frontend interfaces or dashboards using React.Js / Angular / Vue.Js.
- Handle authentication (OAuth, API Tokens) and data transformations between tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts and administrators to understand integration needs.
- Troubleshoot integration and performance issues.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and code.
