Position Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent sales and negotiation skills, along with a strong understanding of e-commerce and retail marketplace dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands aiming to grow on premium online marketplaces.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Conduct market research to track trends, competitors, and prospects.
Collaborate with internal teams (Account Management, Marketing & Operations) to deliver impactful solutions.
Prepare business proposals, pitch presentations, and sales reports.
Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.
Represent the organization at networking events, trade shows, and industry forums.
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ Education : Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
✅ Experience : 5–9 years in Business Development / Sales (E-commerce, Retail, or Digital Marketing preferred).
✅ Strong knowledge of online marketplaces and retail ecosystem.
✅ Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
✅ Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
✅ Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Candidate Preferences
Experience : 5–9 years (mandatory in Business Development / Sales)
Education : Master’s degree (preferably Marketing, Business, or related)
Language : Proficiency in English & Hindi (spoken & written)
Location : Open to candidates across India (must be willing to relocate to Ludhiana, Punjab).
