Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Perform Should Be Cost / Zero Based Cost of Trim Commodity Components -
• Exterior Trim : Bumpers, Claddings, Spoilers, Roof Rails, Footsteps,
• Interior Trim : Cockpit / Instrument Panel, Door Trim, Floor Console
• Soft Trims : Headliner, Carpets, Sunvisor, NVH Acoustic Parts,
• Plastic Fuel Tanks and DEF Tank, for Automotives (PV and CV) and Tractors in line with Norms and Guidelines
• Should be experienced in understanding Product Drawings / 3D CAD data, Team Center, Bill Of Material Interpretation, Mold Specifications and Process Specifications
• Should have Experience in MHR Calcuation
• Should be aware of Industry Standards regarding Interest Rates, Labour Rates, Power Rates, Land Rates across Demograhies in India
• Should have background in either of the Function / s : Product Costing / Product Development / Manufacturing Engineering / Business Development Should be adept with understanding of Color, Material, Finishes and Polymer Raw Materials and Manufacturing Processes
• Experience
• 3 to 5 yrs experience in Product Costing / RFQ Management
• Product Development Experience will be an added Skill Set
• Industry Preferred

• Materials : Plastic Raw Materials like PP and Engineering Plastics like ABS, ASA, PC, Nylons etc, Automotive Textile materials like Knitted, Woven, Non Woven Fabrics, Poly Urethanes
• Process Knowledge Injection Molding, Plastic Painting, Plastic Welding Processes, PU Molding, Vacuum Forming, Blow Molding, ThermoForming, ThermoSetting
• Excellent Digitisation and Data Analytical Skills, high-level problem solving & out-of-box thinkerDot Networking Skills & Collaborative Approach
• Conflict Handling Ability to justify Assumptions with Concrete Technical Know How
• Cost Estimation Zero Based and Detailed
• Business Case Estimation Cost Estimation on Key Cost Drivers and use of Extrapolation and Reference Part Costing References
• Cost Matrix Preparation and Planning
• Cost Monitoring Walkthrough from Business Case to Launch of Vehicle
• Relationship Management
