Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain Java applications with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
  • Write and execute BDD test scenarios aligned with business requirements.
  • Create and manage Unix / Linux shell scripts for automation and deployment tasks.
  • Integrate and manage messaging systems like IBM MQ and Apache Kafka.
  • Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning).
  • Ensure application performance, reliability, and compliance with Capital Markets standards.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in Java and Cucumber (BDD) .
  • Hands-on experience with Unix / Linux scripting .
  • Knowledge of IBM MQ and Apache Kafka for messaging.
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI / CD best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Understanding of Capital Markets domain (trading, settlements, risk management).

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Experience in BDD frameworks and test automation.
  • Exposure to financial services or Capital Markets domain.

    • Preferred Attributes :

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
