About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee financial management, statutory compliance, and audit processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, ensuring timely financial reporting, managing fund flow, and driving compliance with regulatory standards. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities (KRA) :
- Supervise and ensure accuracy in maintenance, review, and finalization of books of accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage complete accounting processes including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, and financial reconciliations.
- Handle bank reconciliations, revenue recognition, fixed assets accounting, and depreciation as per Indian GAAP and Companies Act.
- Ensure accurate computation and timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, PT, and ESIC returns.
- Oversee fund flow management, working capital analysis, and monthly MIS preparation and presentation to management.
- Coordinate and manage statutory, internal, and tax audits by liaising with auditors and relevant departments.
- Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive informed financial decisions.
- Review and enhance internal controls, financial systems, and reporting mechanisms.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.
- Ensure timely closure of books, reconciliation of accounts, and adherence to financial timelines.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency enhancement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams for compliance, tax planning, and strategic financial initiatives.
Required Skillsets :
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience.In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and related financial regulations.Hands-on experience in book finalization, audits, and statutory compliance.Strong command over financial analysis, fund flow management, and MIS reporting.Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other ERP accounting systems.Excellent analytical and numerical ability with attention to accuracy and detail.Sound understanding of taxation, reconciliations, and reporting frameworks.Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.(ref : iimjobs.com)
