Senior Wordpress Website Designer

Tarlton Technologies is a nationwide empire of ultra-fast, SEO-first digital platforms from roadside assistance networks to enterprise-grade marketplaces and real estate tech. This is NOT a job for beginners. I am looking for a design assassin a senior-level WordPress designer who builds experiences , not pages.

Someone who understands brand systems, scale, performance, and cinematic realism across thousands of pages.

If you rely on pre-made templates or spend time Googling or asking ChatGPT “how to fix padding,” stop reading now and DO NOT APPLY!!! This role is for the top 1%.

What you must bring to the table :

We’re not training anyone. You must already be dangerous. 🔥🔥

• 5+ years building WordPress sites from scratch , not editing themes although we will consider Kadence developers on a case by case basis.
• Mastery of Gutenberg, Generate Blocks, Cwicly , and modern block-based design.
• Ability to build layouts that feel cinematic, ultra-realistic, modern, fast
• Experience designing templates for large-scale platforms (hundreds / thousands of dynamic pages)
• Ability to create AI-driven hero images and visual systems (DALL
• E, Midjourney, etc.)
• Deep understanding of UI / UX, hierarchy, typography, spacing
• Strong skills in ACF, CPTs, reusable templates, custom loops
• Comfortable with PHP tweaks, CSS Grid / Flexbox , responsive systems
• Experience with Wordpress and able to effectively log all work in Airable and GitHub
• Delivers work that is polished, mobile-checked, tablet-checked, widescreen-ready
