For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to assist with the implementation of a Work Force Planning system. Candidates need to have at least 5 years of PeopleSoft experience.

We are looking for a motivated contractor. This position is long-term. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and responsibilities :
- Develop, test and deliver a process to pull staff demographic data (e.g., grade, title, department), Position data from PeopleSoft;
- Develop, test, and deliver a process to load historical data from a SQL Server database to PeopleSoft;
- Produce completed and well tested programs which meet user satisfaction and acceptance and precisely reflect the requirements from technical specs;
- Take functional specs and develop high quality technical specs from functional specs;
- Enable workflow in certain areas of the system;
- Adhere to project schedules and report progress regularly;
- Prepare technical documents like technical specs, flow diagrams, ER diagrams, user manuals etc;
- Prepare CMM required documentation for project, when applicable (Impact Analysis and Design, Test Cases, SMR);
- Ensure that Bank policies, procedures and standards are factored into project design and development;
- Conduct Peer Review on Code and Test Cases prepared by other team members, to assess quality and compliance with coding standards;
- Prepare weekly status reports and participate in status meetings - highlighting issues and constraints that would impact timely delivery of work program items;
- Communicate proactively with other team members and team lead. Participate in the estimation of work plans, test plans and implementation plans;
Profile :
Bachelor or Master degree;8 years of IT experience;5 years relevant experience in building PeopleSoft systems using PeopleSoft and Database technologies, preferably work experience in Peoplesoft 9.2Excellent knowledge of PeopleTools, Peoplesoft Application Designer, Peoplecode, SQR and overall excellent technical skills on the Peoplesoft Development platform;Expertise in SQL, PL / SQL and Oracle platform;Expertise in SQR programming for producing complex reports and batch processes;Expertise with Peoplesoft Mobile / Fluid technologies;Peoplesoft Workflow knowledge expected and working knowledge would be desirable;Sufficient knowledge and working experience with rule based systems;Knowledge of Peoplesoft HR table infrastructure;Proven and demonstrated experience in full system development life cycle – Analysis, Design, Programming, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance;Sound understanding of and implementation experience with issue tracking, and source code repository;Fluent in English;
