Medical Scribe Job Description

The primary role of a medical scribe is to accurately document patient information during physician-patient interactions. This involves preparing and assembling medical record documentation / charts, as well as utilizing electronic medical record applications to update patient history and physical exams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assemble and prepare medical records / documentation for physicians
• Utilize electronic medical record applications to update patient information
• Ensure accurate documentation by self-attestation
• Update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the prescribed format
