Job description

Role : Devops Architect

Locations : Remote

Exp : 8 to 14 years

  • Architect and implement secure, scalable CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML-based), ensuring high availability, traceability, and efficient deployment across environments.
  • Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives with Pulumi (TypeScript / .NET) and Terraform / Terragrunt, focusing on reusable modules, parameterization, and environment-specific configurations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks via Confluence, enabling continuous onboarding, platform adoption, and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to platform maturity by creating knowledge bases, architectural diagrams, and rule-based ownership models supporting DevSecOps enablement.

Must-Have Skills :

  • Azure DevOps (ADO) : Multi-stage YAML pipelines, templates, secure variables, service connections
  • Azure Cloud : Deep understanding of Azure RBAC, Azure Resource Graph (ARG), Policy, and Defender for Cloud
  • IaC Expertise : Hands-on experience with Pulumi (preferably in .NET / TypeScript), Terraform, Terragrunt, and environment provisioning strategies
  • CI / CD Workflows : Artifact packaging, environment gating, pipeline triggers, preview / review / update flows, cross-stage variable handling
  • Programming : Working knowledge of one modern language.NET, Python, or Javafor IaC integration, scripting, or automated validation
  • Monitoring & Logs : Proficiency in KQL, Azure Monitor, and ARG queries for infra observability, security posture assessment, and drift detection

    • Secondary Skills :

  • Multi-Cloud Exposure : Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM) and cross-account security patterns
  • CI / CD Alternatives : Experience with GitHub Actions, reusable job templates, matrix builds, and GitHub-hosted runners
  • Containerization : Docker image build pipelines, Helm charts, AKS / EKS deployments, Kubernetes manifests
  • Security Tooling : Working knowledge of Checkov, Trivy, SARIF-based scanners, BinSkim, Defender for DevOps / Containers
  • Observability Tools : Experience integrating Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana into CI / CD for system health and visibility
  • Automation : Bash, PowerShell, Python scripting for bootstrapping, credential rotation, custom CI / CD logic.
