Sap Materials Management Consultant

A Sap MM AFS Consultant designs, configures, and supports the SAP Material Management (MM) module, specifically within the SAP Apparel and Footwear Solution (AFS) environment, to optimize supply chain processes like procurement, inventory management, and master data management for the fashion industry. Key responsibilities include analyzing business requirements for AFS-specific features (like size and color), managing MM processes such as purchasing and inventory, integrating with other SAP modules, providing end-user training, and developing technical documentation for the AFS-enhanced MM solution. Key Responsibilities SAP MM / AFS Configuration : Setting up and customizing the SAP MM module with AFS functionalities to manage materials, vendors, and purchase orders. Process Optimization : Improving and streamlining the entire supply chain, including demand planning, procurement, inventory control, and logistics. Master Data Management : Ensuring accurate management of master data, such as material masters and vendor masters, with particular focus on apparel-specific attributes like size, color, and style. Integration : Facilitating seamless integration of the MM AFS module with other SAP modules such as SD (Sales and Distribution), FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), and WM (Warehouse Management). Troubleshooting & Support : Investigating and resolving issues, providing post-go-live support, and acting as a liaison with business users for problem-solving. Documentation & Training : Creating functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials to support the AFS solution. Industry Expertise : Providing expert advice on AFS best practices and industry-specific solutions within the apparel and footwear sector. Mandatory Skills : - SAP MM - Materials Management.
