Job Title : Mechanical Design Engineer – Energy Storage Solutions

Role Objective :
Lead the design, prototyping, and scale-up of mechanical systems for RCT's hydrogen and energy storage solutions. The role involves integrating advanced German technology with Indian fabrication and deployment requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead mechanical design of hydrogen fuel cell components, pressure vessels, and integrated storage systems
Collaborate with global engineering teams to localize designs to Indian manufacturing standards
Perform FEA, thermal analysis, fatigue analysis, and pressure containment simulations
Develop BOMs, technical drawings, assembly guidelines, and manufacturing specifications
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure manufacturability and cost optimization
Drive innovation in compact energy storage systems for industrial and utility-scale applications
Interface with clients, EPC contractors, and certification agencies for design validation and compliance
Qualifications :
B.E. / M.E. in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Strong proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks or Creo), Ansys, and relevant design codes (ASME, IS 2825)
Prior experience in hydrogen storage systems, battery systems, or compressed gas technologies preferred
Hands-on exposure across the design-to-prototype-to-production lifecycle
