What You’ll Do

As an AI Engineer at Wednesday, you’ll design and build production-ready AI systems using state-of-the-art language models, vector databases, and modern AI frameworks. You’ll own the full lifecycle of AI features — from prototyping and prompt engineering to deployment, monitoring, and optimization. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure our AI solutions deliver real business value at scale.

Your Responsibilities

System Architecture & Development

• Architect and implement AI applications leveraging transformer-based LLMs, embeddings, and vector similarity techniques.
• Build modular, maintainable codebases using Python and AI frameworks.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation & Semantic Search

LLM Integration & Optimization

AI Infrastructure & Observability

End-to-End Integration & Rapid Prototyping

prototype new AI features quickly using frontend frameworks (React / Next.Js).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate complex business requirements into robust AI solutions.
