We at SEDEMAC are on the look-out for a Manager, Purchase to join our stellar Supply Chain team.

Major Responsibilities

Run MRP and analyze the planned orders. Ensure all master data accuracy for MRP

Communicate orders / forecast to suppliers and co-ordinate to ensure on time availability of parts at supplier for shipment.

Co-ordinate with supplier and analyze next level planning to secure supplies of all raw material at least for next three months

Oversees and monitors shipment plans from suppliers to ensure sufficient inventory is available for production

Co-ordinate with freight forwarders / CHA for on time delivery

Maintain optimum level of inventory according to the set target through defined inventory control principles and practices

Generate daily reports of material in transit and further incomings

Co-ordinate with production to understand any fluctuations in production plan to avoid line down.

Maintain orders data in ERP.

Improve purchase process as per the need of market situation

Responsible to move suppliers' rejection back as per set target

Technical Skills and Experience :

Advance excel skills

In depth knowledge of MRP, Inventory control practices, Inventory analysis

Familiar with electronic parts and their storage & handling requirements

In depth knowledge of import procedures and freight management

Experience of electronic parts procurements

Managerial Skills and Experience :

Sense of ownership

Good Negotiation skill

Ability to deal with dynamic situations and problem-solving attitude

Must have a sense of urgency and relentlessness

Information on Selection Process

The selection process will be multi-phased aptitude test plus interviews

There will be a focus on evaluation of the candidate's understanding of technical, analytical & logical skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Commerce with 10 - 15 years of relevant work
