About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, governed data models and architectures on cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will define canonical entities, conformed dimensions, and fact models to enable robust analytics, while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and data governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data architecture on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Define and implement 3NF canonical models, dimensional / star schema models for analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and build logical & physical data models.
• Establish and enforce data modelling, metadata management, and governance standards .
• Guide Data Engineers in developing ingestion pipelines aligned with architecture.
• Translate legacy BI / ETL logic (Informatica, Cognos, TM1, etc.) into modern data architectures.
• Ensure data lineage, traceability, and auditability are embedded into all designs.
• Implement data quality frameworks, validation, and reconciliation processes .
• Support BI & application developers in consuming curated data models.
• Conduct performance reviews of data models and optimize for scalability & cost.
• Maintain detailed architecture and design documentation .
