About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PLM Specialist with strong expertise in Teamcenter within a Microsoft environment. In this role, you will support the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, ensuring smooth IT operations, user support, and system enhancements across multiple international locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level support for PLM users, ensuring effective resolution of issues.
  • Manage and maintain server components , ensuring smooth operation of Teamcenter systems.
  • Install, test, and document updates in the test environment before deployment to production.
  • Customize and enhance Teamcenter integration with CAD interfaces such as Solid Edge and AutoCAD .
  • Lead sub-projects to expand and optimize PLM system usage across functions and geographies.
  • Collaborate with departments to advise on feasible and efficient software solutions .
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and instructional videos .
  • Conduct user training sessions (individual and group).
  • Provide international support across regions such as Germany, India, and the USA.
  • Work closely with IT and functional departments to ensure alignment of technical and business goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Computer Science , or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in IT, preferably within the PLM domain .
  • Proven experience working with Teamcenter PLM , ideally with Active Workspace and Polarion integration.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, JSON, and SSL .
  • Strong communication, consulting, and project management skills .
  • Proactive, structured, and team-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel for business requirements when necessary.

  • Experience in Teamcenter Active Workspace and Polarion Requirements Management .
  • Exposure to multi-site and cross-functional PLM environments .
