UX Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to own and drive the maintenance, evolution, and strategic roadmap of our Core Design System . This role is pivotal in ensuring our design system remains scalable, future-proof, and aligned with both business goals and end-user needs. The ideal candidate will blend expertise in design engineering, UX , and front-end technologies to deliver a consistent and effective design system across the organization.

You will work closely with product designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure our design system is robust, widely adopted, and fosters a culture of consistency, efficiency, and accessibility in product development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the Core Design System - from daily operations to long-term strategy.
• Define, maintain, and evolve reusable components, patterns, tokens, and guidelines.
• Partner with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure system adoption across multiple products.
• Build and implement governance frameworks and workflows that drive consistency, quality, and scalability.
• Conduct UX design, usability testing, and research to inform improvements in the system.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of design system components into production applications.
• Advocate for accessibility, performance, and responsive design best practices.
• Monitor system adoption, gather feedback, and create processes for continuous improvement.
• Lead community building efforts within the organization to promote awareness, contribution, and best practices around the design system.
• Provide technical and UX leadership to designers, design engineers, and front-end developers working within the design system team.
• Stay updated on emerging tools, frameworks, and industry best practices to ensure the design system remains modern and competitive.
