The Executive Assistant & PR will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director while leading communication, media, and outreach efforts to enhance the Universitys visibility and engagement. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to ensure seamless daily operations and impactful external representation.
Key Responsibilities :
Administrative Support :
Provide high-level administrative support to the Director, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Manage the Directors calendar, schedule, and travel arrangements.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and conferences; prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and reports.
Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls with professionalism and confidentiality.
Develop and implement efficient administrative processes and systems.
Maintain accurate records, files, and databases for quick and easy retrieval.
Communications & Media Relations :
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, media personnel, newspaper reporters, and other stakeholders.
Keep the media and public informed through timely press releases, engaging social media posts, and direct communications, highlighting the University's initiatives and achievements.
Assess campaign performance and adjust strategies to improve outreach, engagement, and public awareness.
Proven ability to plan, coordinate & execute large scale events, including those involving government officials, VIPs and VVIPs.
Marketing & Outreach :
Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies to promote the University's programs and initiatives.
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
Create and manage digital and print advertising campaigns.
Ensure content quality and consistency across the University's website, social media platforms, and other communication channels.
Prepare impactful presentations, reports, and promotional materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Proven experience in executive assistance, communications & event management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and digital marketing tools.
Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
