About the role
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Head / Senior Manager - Strategy with proven experience in fundraising, strategic planning, and business growth within the Electric Vehicle (EV) logistics industry. This role will be central to driving the company's strategic initiatives, investor relations, and long-term growth roadmap. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial modeling, market strategy,
and capital raising from venture capital, private equity, banks, and strategic investors - with a deep understanding of the EV ecosystem and sustainable style="background-color : inherit;">
1. Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Lead end-to-end fundraising efforts including equity, debt, and strategic investment rounds.
- Identify and engage with potential investors - VCs, PEs, banks, ESG funds, development finance institutions (DFIs), and government programs related to clean mobility.
- Prepare and present compelling investment decks, business plans, and financial models highlighting business growth and sustainability impact.
- Manage investor communications, due diligence processes, and term sheet negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
2. Strategic Planning & Growth Initiatives
Define and execute the organization's medium- and long-term strategic roadmap.Drive key strategic initiatives related to EV fleet expansion, charging infrastructure, and technology-driven logistics optimization.Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for expansion, diversification, and partnerships.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Product, and Business Development) to align strategic goals with execution plans.3. Financial Modeling & Business Analytics
Develop financial and operational models to evaluate investment opportunities, business viability, and ROI.Assess capital allocation efficiency and forecast business growth scenarios.Provide insights on market trends, policy developments, and risk factors affecting the EV logistics industry.4. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Collaboration
Collaborate with strategic partners - OEMs, energy companies, fintechs, government agencies, and sustainability organizations - to unlock new growth opportunities.Structure joint ventures, alliances, or co-investment opportunities that enhance the company's financial and strategic position.Evaluate potential M&A opportunities aligned with long-term goals.5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on investment, business, and strategic decisions.Represent the company in investor meetings, industry conferences, and government or policy forums.Build and mentor a small team to support strategy and fundraising functions.Location & commitments

Experience & Qualifications Required
Master's Degree from B school.8-15 years of experience in strategic planning, fundraising, or corporate finance, preferably in EV, logistics, or renewable energy industries.Experience raising funds from VCs, PEs, impact investors, or institutional lendersKey Skills & Competencies
Strong experience in fundraising, investor relations, or corporate finance, ideally within EV, mobility, logistics, or clean energy sectors.Proven ability to develop and present investment cases backed by strong data and market logic.Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and capital structuring.Deep understanding of EV value chain, logistics operations, and sustainability financing.Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging with CXOs and investors.(ref : iimjobs.com)
