SAP GATP Functional Consultant - APO / OTC

we are looking for a SAP GATP Functional consultant who can work remotely from India and work for a client in USA.

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP GATP Functional Consultant with a deep understanding of SAP ECC Batch Determination, Global Available to Promise (GATP), and Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) to join our client. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in configuring and implementing SAP solutions related to batch management, order fulfillment, and supply chain planning, specifically within SAP ECC. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes, improve system performance, and ensure seamless integration of batch determination with GATP and APO.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement gathering, analysis, design, configuration, testing and support of SAP Global Available to Promise(GATP) business processes in APO and ECC systems.

• Availability check in Sales order and inter / intra company stock transport orders
• Availability check in Make-to Stock and Make-to Order scenarios
• Configuration of rule based and non rule based GATP
• Configuration of product allocation, planning books, planning areas and process chains.
• Configuration of back order processing and rescheduling
• Configuration of transportation and shipment scheduling
• Configuration of batch determination with knowledge of batch classification and object dependencies
• Core interface(CIF) integration models and issue resolution for CIF queues
• Rationalize business processes from different regions to design global solutions.
• Create functional specification documents that require development of WRICEF objects
• Configure and document Business Configuration Documents(BCD)
• Design, Unit Test and QA Test all GATP business processes.
• Work on project tools like QMetry for defect resolution, Jira / Confluence for Agile processes etc.

Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and clients on SAP Batch Determination, GATP, and APO configurations and functionality.
