Job description

Job Title : Shopify Developer (Contract Role – 6 Months)

Location : Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Contract Duration : 6 Months (extendable based on performance)

Notice Period : Immediate joiners or max 15 days

Experience Required : 4–5 years (minimum 3 years in Shopify development)

Educational Qualification : B.Tech / M.Tech only

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain custom Shopify applications that integrate with Shopify stores.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure Shopify apps are fully functional, optimized, and aligned with Shopify best practices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services into Shopify apps.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues or bugs related to apps.
  • Ensure all apps are scalable, secure, and efficient.
  • Stay updated with the latest Shopify development trends.
  • Provide support and training to internal teams or clients when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in Shopify app development and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify’s Liquid templating language, Shopify Themes, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify app development frameworks (Shopify CLI, Polaris).
  • Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, JWT) for secure integrations.
  • Proficiency with Git version control.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
