Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Executive Human Resources, based in Chennai. The Senior Executive Human Resources will be responsible for Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Performance Management, Training & Development, handling employee relations, developing and enforcing HR policies, and overseeing various aspects of HR management.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead the end-to-end hiring process — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Develop hiring strategies to attract qualified candidates across departments.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation to help new hires integrate effectively into the organization.
2. Performance Management
Coordinate periodic performance appraisals and maintain transparent evaluation systems.Support department heads in setting KPIs, performance goals, and career progression frameworks.Manage promotions, role changes, and performance improvement plans in alignment with company policies.3. Training & Development
Identify training needs through regular consultation with managers and team leads.Plan and implement employee development programs, workshops, and skill-building initiatives.Track training effectiveness and maintain learning and development records.4. Employee Relations & Culture
Serve as the point of contact for employee grievances, conflict resolution, and morale-related issues.Foster a positive and engaging work culture through team-building and recognition programs.Advise leadership on initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and organizational culture.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA in HR preferred).2–4 years of progressive experience in HR , with a focus on recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.Experience in a growth-stage or service-oriented organization (e.g., education, training, or IT sector) is a plus.Proven ability to manage the entire employee lifecycle from hiring to appraisal and retention.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with employees and leadership.Ability to handle conflict resolution, counseling, and grievance management with empathy and professionalism.Good understanding of HR software tools, spreadsheets, and digital performance tracking systems.High attention to detail, confidentiality, and a people-first mindset.
