As a Senior System Administrator at FCI-CCM, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of our IT systems, infrastructure, and network. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to address technical issues, implement solutions, and optimize our IT environment for maximum efficiency and performance.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Windows System Administration :
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Servers, including 2012 and 2019 editions. Regular
- maintenance of all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems and other system management
- tools.
- Continuous monitoring and performance testing of Windows Server OS for potential bottlenecks, with the
- ability to identify and implement solutions and fixes.
Linux Skills :
Proficiency in managing Linux servers within virtualized environments.Experience with Linux desktops in Domain environments.Familiarity with Linux scripting languages.Installation, configuration, and maintenance of services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, nginx, FTP, etc.Ability to build and monitor services on production Linux servers.Network Firewall Management :
Thorough knowledge of SonicWALL Firewalls.Evaluation, implementation, and monitoring of incoming network change requests.Expertise in IP-based rule-defined access.Configuration of load balancing and high availability mode.General Responsibilities :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT infrastructure meets business needs.Perform routine system and infrastructure audits for security and performance enhancements.Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues promptly.Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations and procedures.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide recommendations for systemimprovementsRequirements
Key skills & Desired Experience required for the role :
Knowledge of ticketing tools like fresh service, zoho will be an added advantage.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT system administration, infrastructure, and network maintenance.Strong expertise in Windows and Linux system administration.Proficiency in managing network firewalls, particularly SonicWALL.Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus.Skills Required
