Head of Operations

Job role : VP-Operation Location : Mangalore

Experience - 15 to 25 Years

Key Requirement : Strong Experience in Greenfield Projects, Plant operation, Finance Operation, Compliance.

We are looking for a Senior Operations Leader who has successfully led greenfield manufacturing or textile projects end-to-end. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of Operations, Finance, HR, Regulatory Compliance, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth establishment and scaling of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall plant operations , ensuring efficiency, quality and timelines.
• Drive greenfield project execution including planning, layout finalization, capacity setup, vendor management, and commissioning.
• Oversee Finance operations including budgeting, cost control, procurement, and financial discipline at the plant level.
• Oversee HR & Admin functions : manpower planning, recruitment, policies, compliance and workforce management.
• Ensure statutory & regulatory compliance : labour laws, environmental norms, factory regulations, safety standards, audits, etc.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams across production, supply chain, finance, HR, and EHS.
• Work closely with top management to implement strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
• Establish SOPs, processes, and operational systems for a new unit.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost optimisation, and best manufacturing practices.
