Description

Key Role & Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of developers
• Designing, Developing, and maintaining product features in both the web and desktop applications
• Develop cloud features and contribute to developing a framework for future products to be built upon
• Designing and implementing the backend APIs and business logic necessary to support new and existing features
• Writing unit tests and working with test automation engineers to produce fully tested solutions
• Shipping robust software for mission-critical problems
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the team on build better quality code
• Having fun working with your team and making great products!

Mandatory skills:

• Experience developing multi-threaded distributed applications in Python.
• Experience in Python frameworks like Django.
• Experience in application security aspects.
• Experience build applications with various queuing and caching strategies.
• Experience in any of the Linux scripting language (Shell or Perl)
• Experience developing SaaS and multi-tenant applications
• Experience in working with MySQL, Postgres, Oracle
• Experience in build/packaging tools like automake, autogen, Bitrock/Bitnami
• Experience with Git or other distributed version control tools

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, or can convincingly demonstrate this level of knowledge and skill

Desired skills and Experience:

• Experience in developing enterprise cloud backup solutions
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform API's
• Experience developing enterprise applications in Perl
• Experience in developing Python, PHP and Javascript (Node JS) applications
• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and DevOps
• Experience with VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Experience in working with SOQL using JSForce
