Position Overview :

The Cloud Architecture Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements. This role involves advising clients on cloud strategies, migrating workloads , and ensuring that cloud environments are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient across leading cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement cloud architecture solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud strategies, frameworks, and best practices .
  • Lead cloud migration projects — including assessment, planning, and execution.
  • Work with multiple cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
  • Define and document architecture diagrams, reference models, and deployment blueprints .
  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are met in all solutions.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Optimize costs, performance, and availability of cloud environments.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance during project lifecycles.
  • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and suggest adoption where beneficial.
  • Provide training and mentorship to internal teams or clients on cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field .
  • Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud architectures .
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps concepts , CI / CD pipelines , and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) .
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization , security frameworks , and identity management .
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing consulting skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions .

  • Professional certifications such as :
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments .
  • Understanding of serverless computing , microservices , and event-driven architectures .
  • Familiarity with enterprise cloud migration tools and disaster recovery planning .
  • Prior experience in client consulting, pre-sales , or technical architecture leadership .
