Project Lead / Project Manager : -Installation of Wind Turbine

Job Summary :

  • A proven individual with experience in Installation of Wind turbine.
  • The Project Manager ensures timely delivery, adherence to safety and quality standards, cost control, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of Wind turbine Installation process. Knowledge of different cranes.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation for wind turbine installation
  • Monitor progress against timelines, budgets, and milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, technical requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Lead and manage site teams including engineers, supervisors, technicians, labours, Vendors.
  • Coordinate logistics of cranes, transport, tools, and materials.
  • Enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards at site.
  • Implement Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) procedures during installation.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, OEMs, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports to management and customers.
  • Resolve conflicts, risks, and issues promptly to avoid delays.
  • Approve vendor / subcontractor invoices as per contract terms.
  • Ensure documentation, punch list clearance, and handover to client
  • Timely closure of audit points and report submission.
  • RCA & CAPA & its implementation.
  • Providing training to Installation team about SOP, good practices.
  • Qualifications :

  • B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8–12 years of experience in wind energy, with at least 4–5 years in project management roles.
  • Working conditions :

  • The current work location is Gadag area Karnataka.
  • Should be ready to work on Pan India basis.
