Required Job Skills & Competencies :

• Strong knowledge of spring steel grades (e.g., 65Si7, EN42J, SAE 9254) and their forming behaviour.
• Proficiency in hot and cold bending techniques including induction heating, press bending, and roll forming.
• Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Catia, UG Nx ) for design.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., EN10270, ASTM A228) and internal quality protocols.
• Conduct metallurgical analysis and mechanical testing (tensile, hardness, fatigue) on spring steel grades.
• Creation of detailed 2D drawings with welding symbols, material specs, and fastening torque values.
• Creation of complex geometries for rail profiles, brackets, and protective housings.
• Use of lofted bends, sweeps, and multi-body parts for composite or hybrid fastening components.
