Job Summary :

The Oracle SCM Functional Consultant will be a key resource in the successful implementation, rollout, and ongoing support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules for our clients.

This role requires deep functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12 SCM processes, strong technical acumen for bridging functional requirements with technical solutions, and a proven ability to manage complex project deliverables across diverse industries.

The consultant will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and production support, ensuring optimal utilization of Oracle EBS to meet specific business objectives.

Core Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary functional subject matter expert (SME) for one or more Oracle EBS R12 SCM modules, specializing in end-to-end business process flows.
• Conduct detailed business requirement gathering sessions, perform Gap Analysis, and map client requirements to standard Oracle EBS functionality for SCM modules.
• Perform all necessary system configuration in Oracle EBS R12 for modules including, but not limited to : Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Work in Process (WIP).
• Develop comprehensive functional design documents (MD50) for customizations, interfaces, reports, and extensions (RICE objects), and actively engage with technical development teams for solution build.
• Design and execute rigorous Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, ensuring all solutions meet defined quality and performance metrics.
• Provide post-implementation production support and timely resolution for complex issues and tickets across the supported SCM landscape, adhering to strict service level agreements (SLAs).
• Lead or actively participate in Oracle EBS R12 implementation and rollout projects, including data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare support.
• Develop detailed training materials and conduct effective training sessions for end-users and client core teams on the configured Oracle SCM processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration points between SCM and other Oracle EBS modules, such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
