About the Role
InteractGEN is looking for a Video Editor who's obsessed with storytelling, rhythm, and crafting visuals that feel alive. Your core focus will be developing and editing marketing, social, and experimental video content from platform-native social reels to campaign visuals that push boundaries.
We're looking for someone who understands how to make content that stops the scroll - you think fast, edit faster, and know how to make stories land. You'll collaborate closely with designers, motion artists, and creative strategists to bring Interact AI's projects and partner brands to life.
This is a paid, full-time role, based in Bengaluru (on-site preferable or hybrid).
Who you are
- Experienced in creating platform-native content - especially Instagram Reels, TikTok-style edits, and performance-driven ad videos.
- Strong in motion graphics, graphic design, and typography - your sense of timing and composition stands out.
- Skilled with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and / or Final Cut Pro X.
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Media Encoder, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop).
- Understands broadcast finishing workflows - mix, color, VFX, and final delivery.
- Comfortable working with codecs, transcoding, and media management.
- Exceptionally organized with solid time management in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Clear communicator and dependable collaborator - someone who thrives in team-based creative chaos.
- Familiar with or interested in AI-assisted video workflows (Midjourney video frames, Sora, Kling AI, Stable Diffusion etc.)
What you'll do
Edit UGC-style and branded videos in various formats optimized for social and marketing channels.Develop thumb-stopping, scroll-breaking edits - layer seamless audio, motion, and on-screen typography that carries a story.Brainstorm and experiment with hooks, cuts, and trends to maximize engagement and storytelling impact.Stay updated on social content trends, platform algorithms, and emerging formats across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.Collaborate with designers and creative leads to create visually and conceptually consistent campaigns.Handle basic project setup, ingest, and footage management.Deliver exports in multiple aspect ratios and platform-ready formats.Ensure content accessibility - captions, subtitles, overlays, and optimized sound mixes.Maintain organized media storage and file systems across drives and cloud environments.Work directly with the creative and performance marketing teams to refine edits based on performance data.What you'll bring
2–3 years of experience in video editing or motion design (internships / freelance work count).A portfolio or showreel that showcases your editing range - from quick social edits to well-paced narratives.Strong grasp of rhythm, pacing, and sound in storytelling.The drive to learn, adapt, and experiment with new AI-based video tools and workflows.Enthusiasm for collaborating with a team that's redefining what creative storytelling looks like in the AI age.Working at InteractGEN
