As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you utilize strong knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope.
Job responsibilities
- Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, with a focus on improving the data and systems running at scale, and ensures end to end monitoring of applications. Provide front line technology
- Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm.
- Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's End user Tech product line (including Microsoft Office, Compute (VDI), Remote Connectivity Products, Security, Voice Support, Mobile devices, MacOS etc...) to ensure operational stability and availability
- Assists in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools (i.e. Splunk)
- Identifies issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
- Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses
- Considers upstream / downstream data and systems or technical implications
- Be accountable for making significant decisions for a project consisting of multiple technologies and applications

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceDemonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloudExperience in observability and monitoring tools and techniquesExposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworkKnowledge of development tools (Jenkins, Git, BitBucket)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience with Python or Basic Cloud knowledge (AWS or Kubernetes)Working understanding of public cloudExperience in handling excel / powerpoint basic, advanced levelExperience or knowledge of working in a DevOps / SRE model would be a plusABOUT US
