Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior PHP Developer
to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of PHP and experience working with
CodeIgniter
HTML
CSS
Bootstrap
, and
jQuery
. You will be working on building and maintaining dynamic web applications and assisting senior developers in delivering quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining PHP-based web applications.

Work with the

CodeIgniter framework

to build scalable backend solutions.

Integrate front-end technologies including

HTML5

CSS3

Bootstrap

, and

jQuery

Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices.

Collaborate with UI / UX designers and other developers to improve usability.

Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Stay updated with emerging trends in web technologies and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Basic experience or academic knowledge of

PHP

and

CodeIgniter

Strong understanding of

HTML

CSS

Bootstrap

, and

jQuery

Knowledge of MySQL or any relational database systems.

Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON is a plus.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Internship or 6-month industrial training in web development is a plus.

Minimum 2 years of experience in web development and if its in edtech, it would be a plus.

Knowledge of version control tools like Git is an added advantage.
