Software Engineer - Node.js

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs using Node.js. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of server-side technologies, and experience working in agile development Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and build RESTful and / or GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Work with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Implement security and data protection practices.
• Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, etc.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend Skills & Qualifications :
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or similar.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Angular, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and web security best practices.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
