Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Build pixel-perfect, smooth, and performant UIs for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
  • Diagnose, debug, and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks ensuring native-like app performance.
  • Maintain clean, modular, and well-tested code with automated test suites to ensure high product quality.
  • Transition existing React web and native apps to React Native seamlessly.
  • Leverage native APIs for deep platform integration and optimized user experience.
  • Actively participate in solution design and architectural discussions as part of the Mobility Center of Excellence (CoE) team.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior and mid-level team members.
  • Drive best practices in mobile development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in React Native development with a strong grasp of its core principles.
  • Expertise with React hooks , navigation , AsyncStorage , and state management libraries like Redux or MobX .
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript , including ES6+ syntax and advanced concepts.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs , asynchronous request handling, and offline data storage strategies.
  • Experience working with mobile databases like Firebase , SQLite , or similar.
  • Skilled at managing and resolving third-party dependency conflicts and debugging complex issues.
  • Familiarity with native build tools such as Xcode , Android Studio , and Gradle .
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest , Mocha , or Detox .
  • Proficient with version control systems like Git , SVN , or Mercurial .
  • Experience deploying native apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store .
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Unit Testing practices and test automation.
  • Experience implementing and managing CI / CD pipelines for mobile applications.
  • Prior team management experience , with ability to mentor and lead development teams effectively.
  • Proven experience in mobile solutioning and architecture , guiding the overall technical direction.
