WordPress & Shopify Developer – Modern Layouts, Animations & SEO Awareness

About the Role

Phoenix Branding is looking for a creative and technically skilled WordPress & Shopify Developer to design and develop modern, animation-rich, and SEO-optimized websites.

You’ll work closely with our design and strategy teams to turn visual concepts into high-performing digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain responsive websites on WordPress and Shopify .
  • Implement modern layouts, transitions, and scroll-based animations .
  • Customize WordPress themes and Shopify templates to match brand guidelines and client requirements.
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-device performance .
  • Collaborate with designers and SEO specialists to ensure consistency across projects.
  • Integrate plugins, APIs, and handle hosting environments (cPanel, FTP).
  • Translate Figma or XD designs into pixel-perfect web pages.
  • Maintain regular updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of WordPress (Elementor, WPBakery, or custom themes).
  • Hands-on experience in Shopify (Liquid, App Integration, Custom Themes).
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery .
  • Experience with animation libraries like GSAP , ScrollTrigger , or Locomotive Scroll .
  • Familiarity with PHP , MySQL , and site optimization best practices.
  • Basic SEO knowledge — meta tags, headings, alt attributes, and site structure.
  • Bonus : Experience with React.js and headless WordPress setups.

  • A fast learner with strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable adapting layouts and interactions based on client preferences.
  • Passionate about clean, modern design and motion-driven web experiences.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

    • Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in WordPress and / or Shopify development.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field.
  • Portfolio of live websites demonstrating modern layouts and animations is mandatory .

    • Compensation & Work Setup

  • Salary : ₹3.0 – ₹3.6 LPA (based on experience).
  • Location : On-site at Phoenix Branding, Bangalore.
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday (10 AM – 7 PM) | Saturday (10 AM – 2 : 30 PM).
