Role Overview
The Strategic Account Director will lead large-scale client relationships, driving business growth, customer success, and strategic transformation engagements . This senior role involves managing CxO-level partnerships , owning multi-million-dollar opportunities, and expanding enterprise portfolios through value-driven, technology-led initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Ownership & Growth
- Own and grow key strategic accounts across large enterprises.
- Identify, shape, and close high-value opportunities (>
$10M TCV) across digital, cloud, and infrastructure services.
Develop and execute account strategies and long-term business roadmaps.Client Relationship & LeadershipAct as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and business stakeholders .Build sustainable relationships and ensure client satisfaction through proactive engagement.Conduct regular business and performance reviews with key decision-makers.Sales & Opportunity ManagementDrive full-cycle enterprise sales — from prospecting and solutioning to negotiation and closure.Partner with internal teams — Legal, Solutioning, Finance, and Delivery — to design and deliver winning deals.Maintain strong sales pipelines and achieve revenue / margin targets.Consulting & TransformationLead discussions around Digital Transformation, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Data & AI .Position the client organization as a strategic partner in the customer’s growth journey.Financial & P&L ManagementOwn account P&L with accountability for revenue, profitability, and growth.Track financial metrics and ensure operational excellence across engagements.Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience : 18–25 years in Strategic Sales / Account Management in IT Services, Consulting, or Cloud Infrastructure.Proven track record of closing >$10M TCV enterprise deals.
Deep understanding of Technology Infrastructure, Cloud, Applications, and Automation.Strong CXO-level relationships and consultative selling experience.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Education : B.E / MBA from a reputed institute.Experience with global IT service providers or Big 4 consulting environments preferred.Key Attributes
