The Hardware Engineer is responsible for the architectural design, development, and validation of hardware systems. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, ensuring the integration of various engineering disciplines, and driving innovation through research and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. The engineer will also maintain rigorous documentation and adhere to industry standards to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of hardware designs.
Architectural Design & Development
- Develop and define the overall architecture of hardware systems, including components such as processors, memory, and I / O interfaces.
- Create detailed design specifications and architectural diagrams that ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Work closely with other engineering teams to integrate hardware designs into complete systems. Should be well versed with 4-layer PCB designing.
Project Leadership
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the hardware design, development, and validation processes.Collaborate with software, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure cohesive system integration.Manage project timelines, deliverables, and conduct risk assessments to ensure successful project completion.Innovation & Research
Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in hardware technology, conducting feasibility studies and prototyping for new concepts.Drive innovation by adopting new methodologies, tools, and technologies that enhance hardware development.Propose and implement creative solutions that improve hardware design and functionality.Documentation & Compliance
Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for all architectural designs, decisions, and processes.Establish and enforce design standards, ensuring that all hardware systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible for future reference and audits.System Testing & Validation
Lead the testing and validation of hardware systems to ensure they meet design specifications and performance criteria.Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop test plans and resolve any issues that arise during testing.Ensure that all hardware systems are robust, reliable, and ready for production deployment.
