Data Platform Observability Support :

The Data Platform Observability Support role provides essential operational support for observability tools and processes that enable the reliability and performance of data platforms within the Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDAA) function. This role assists in maintaining monitoring dashboards, collecting logs and metrics, and ensuring observability infrastructure functions smoothly. Working under the guidance of engineering and SRE teams, the role plays a critical part in ensuring platform health, incident response, and operational visibility.

Who we are looking for :

Primary Responsibilities :

Support observability systems for logging, monitoring, and alerting across data platforms.

Assist in the configuration and maintenance of dashboards, alerts, and metrics for platform health.

Help collect and organize performance data to support incident triage and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with platform and SRE teams to ensure observability tooling is up to date and functioning.

Maintain documentation and operational checklists for observability tasks and recurring activities.

Participate in root cause analysis and support post-incident review processes.

Assist in basic scripting or automation tasks related to observability tooling or data collection.

Ensure adherence to observability standards and data logging policies.

Provide day-to-day monitoring support and escalate issues as needed.

Skill :

4 years of experience in a technical support, DevOps, infrastructure, or systems monitoring role

Proficient with of ETL Pipeline’s

Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, or similar

Understanding of basic monitoring concepts (e.g., metrics, logs, alerts, uptime)

Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., GCP) and basic infrastructure operations

Comfortable using CLI tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow operational procedures

Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred

Eagerness to learn and grow within a platform reliability and observability environment

Work location : Hyderabad, India

Work pattern : Full time role.
