About the Role

Parul University invites applications from distinguished academicians and professionals for the position of Head of the Department – Nutrition and Dietetics . The HoD will provide visionary leadership to the department, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and administration.

Key Responsibilities : -

• Provide academic and strategic leadership for the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Design, develop, and implement curriculum in line with national / international standards.
• Supervise and mentor faculty members, researchers, and students.
• Initiate and coordinate funded research projects, industry collaborations, and consultancy services.
• Promote quality teaching, innovative pedagogy, and student-centered learning.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and institutional standards.
• Lead departmental administration, including budgeting, faculty recruitment, timetabling, and performance reviews.
• Foster a culture of academic excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional development.
• Represent the department in academic councils, university committees, and external forums.
• Strengthen community outreach programs, extension activities, and public health initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Nutrition and Dietetics / Food & Nutrition / Clinical Nutrition / Allied fields from a recognized university.
