Job descriptionBasic knowledge of robotics concepts (kinematics, actuators, sensors, mechanisms). Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling, assemblies, drawings). Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, CNC, 3D printing) is a plus. Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Hands-on experience working on real-world robotics and product design projects. Exposure to industry-level workflows, design reviews, and production-ready design. Mentorship from experienced roboticists and designers. Opportunity to contribute to innovative R&D projects at Polyqurl Technologies.

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Robotics Design Intern to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in robotics, a good understanding of mechanical fundamentals, and solid proficiency in SolidWorks for CAD modeling. You will support our senior engineers in designing robotic components, mechanisms, and production-ready parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing mechanical components and assemblies for robotics projects.
- Create 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks .
- Support the development of new robotic mechanisms, joints, and structural elements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on rapid prototyping and design iterations.
- Participate in design reviews and implement feedback for optimization.
- Maintain CAD file organization, revisions, and documentation.
