Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive O&M Engineer to lead our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and safety of installed solar PV plants, while also managing a team of technicians to deliver high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership : Manage and guide the O&M team (technicians, site engineers) to execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Plant Operations : Monitor performance of rooftop solar plants using remote monitoring tools; identify underperformance and resolve issues promptly.
Maintenance Scheduling : Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for inverters, modules, batteries, and BOS (Balance of System) components.
Troubleshooting : Lead fault diagnosis and corrective action on-site for electrical, mechanical, and communication issues.
Compliance & Safety : Ensure all work follows safety protocols, statutory requirements, and internal SOPs.
Client Interaction : Act as the technical point of contact for clients; provide performance reports and ensure customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management : Oversee spare parts planning and procurement for O&M activities.
Documentation : Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of plant performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

Education : B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

Experience : 2–4 years of experience in solar O&M, preferably rooftop systems (residential or C&I).

Strong knowledge of solar inverters, PV modules, SCADA / monitoring systems, and battery systems.

Familiarity with safety standards (IS / IEC codes) and grid compliance.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead a team in critical situations.

Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.

Willingness to travel across sites (Mumbai, Pune, Nashik).
