Corporate finance and strategy manager

Job purpose

The corporate finance & strategy manager is a key member of Ocugen’s Commercial and Strategy team. This individual will be responsible for creating internal financial models and strategy content. This individual will work closely with commercial and business development teams. This role reports into the EVP, Business & Commercial Development. Must be able to deliver on tight timelines.

Duties and responsibilities

Create and maintain corporate financial model

Support long-term strategic plan

Support commercial activities including but not limited to commercial planning, project timelines,

Create impactful content to shape ophthalmology gene therapy strategy and implementation

Ad-hoc requests to support Commercial, Strategy, Business Development, and finance as-needed.

Qualifications

BS or MBA degree in business and biotechnology or closely related field

5+ years experience in creating financial models for biotech and / or pharmaceutical companies

Mastery of excel and PowerPoint

Ability to deliver on tight deadlines

Demonstrated attention to detail and outstanding organization skills.

Self-motivated with a commitment to high quality, on-time deliverables.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented approach.

Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues and effectively manage timelines.

This position operates in an office setting in person. Remote work will be limited.

Job may additionally require incumbent to be available outside of these hours to handle priority business needs.

This is a largely sedentary role.
