Statistical Programmer

Essential Functions :

Provide statistical programming and validation for life sciencesrelated projects including clinical trial datasets and tables, listings,

and figures.

Access and convert data to SAS datasets and other file types from

database management system and PC file formats (e.g., Microsoft

Excel, text files).

Work with external vendors to develop and / or monitor the content and

structure of SAS datasets and other files.

Work closely with statisticians and other statistical programmers to

generate and validate outputs to ensure accuracy and ensure the

quality and soundness of statistical programming algorithms.

Provide input to specifications of tabulation and analysis datasets,

validation plans, and other related documents

Other duties as assigned.

Necessary Skills and Abilities :

In-depth knowledge of statistical programming.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to

work collaboratively in cross functional teams and with external

partners.

Ability to program in SAS and / or R preferred.

Educational Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a

related discipline, or a combination of other education with 1+ years

of relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements :

Experience with CDISC data structures, such as SDTM and ADaM.
