We are looking for a 6+ years experienced with highly skilled OpenTelemetry Developer candidates.

Roles & Responsibilities :
- As a OpenTelemetry Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining OpenTelemetry-based solutions.
- Should have good experience in Open Telemetry with code level instrumentation for Java and NodeJS applications
- You will work on instrumentation, data collection, and observability tools to ensure seamless integration and monitoring of applications.
- Can independently instrument and export the data through OTEL Receiver and export to Datadog for visualisation
- Design, develop and maintain the code implementing the Telemetry features by being involved in the complete lifecycle of feature development
- Should have worked on both Open Telemetry metrics and traces
- Analyse and reports defects on software to improve conformance, stability and supportability
- Understand customer network architecture and design and accordingly provide solutions when applicable to achieve greater feature set, stability or performance.
- Provide technical direction to internal teams and customers.
- Should also have prior experience working in Datadog and have done the custom scripting
- Strong programming skills in one or more : Java, Node.js,
- Experience with distributed systems or microservices
- Familiarity with tracing, metrics, and logging concepts
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Troubleshoot issues in instrumentation and telemetry pipelines
- Create and maintain documentation related to observability practices
- Stay current with the latest developments in OpenTelemetry and observability tools
Nice-to-Have :
Contributions to OpenTelemetry or other CNCF projectsExperience with SRE practices and monitoring SLAs / SLOsKnowledge of CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Helm)Understanding of security and data compliance in telemetryQualifications :
