Responsibilities :
- Integration Solution Design and Development :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and design robust integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain interfaces using healthcare integration standards, such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
- Implement and configure middleware platforms and integration engines (e.g., Mirth, BizTalk, or Rhapsody).
- Healthcare System Integration :
- Integrate electronic health record (EHR) systems, laboratory information systems (LIS), picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and other healthcare applications.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity during the integration process.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows to identify and resolve issues.
- Security and Compliance :
- Implement security measures to protect patient data during the integration process.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, to safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Performance Optimization and Monitoring :
- Monitor integration performance to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
- Conduct load testing and performance tuning to ensure the scalability of integration solutions.
- Documentation and Training :
- Create comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including interface specifications and configurations.
- Train internal teams and end-users on using integration interfaces effectively.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Healthcare Integration or in a similar role within the healthcare industry.In-depth knowledge of healthcare integration standards, such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM.Experience with integration middleware and engine platforms, such as Mirth, BizTalk, or Rhapsody is plus.Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), laboratory information systems (LIS).Strong understanding of healthcare data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA).Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Javascript) and data transformation (XML, JSON).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and healthcare professionals.Good to Have :
Experience with healthcare integrations (Elation, Athena, eCW, HIE, claims pipelines).Familiarity with Twilio – Programable SMS and Voice calls, Mailgun - emails, wearable data APIs.Exposure to BI / reporting tools (PowerBI, BigQuery).Prior experience in Value-Based Care (VBC) programs or healthcare startups.Benefits

Requirements Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10–15 years of hands-on engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a lead / architect role. Strong expertise in Node.js (NestJS), ReactJS, React Native, Python (preferred), and TypeScript. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, data pipelines, and healthcare data (EHR, claims, ADT, FHIR standards). Familiarity with AI / ML integration and building data-driven applications. Experience with HIPAA, security best practices, and compliance in healthcare systems. Strong problem-solving, system design, and communication skills. Proven track record of mentoring teams and delivering complex products in a startup or fast-paced environment.
