Job Title : Test Automation Lead

Exp : 8 - 12 Years

Work Location : Trivandrum

Job Summary :

The Test Automation Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for the RISE / S4 HANA HCM Payroll Migration Project. This role involves leading the automation testing efforts, ensuring the quality and efficiency of testing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Strategy and Planning :

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for the project.
  • Identify automation opportunities and define the scope of automation testing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with automation goals.

Test Script Development and Execution :

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts and analyse results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure test scripts are scalable, reusable, and maintainable.

    • Quality Assurance and Improvement :

  • Implement best practices and standards for test automation to ensure high quality deliverables.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of test scripts to adapt to changes in the system or requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and implement corrective actions.

    • Qualifications : Education :

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Experience :

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
  • Proven experience in leading automation testing efforts for ERP systems, particularly SAP.

    • Skills :

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, modules, and business processes, particularly in HCM and Payroll.
  • Experience in SAP testing, specifically RISE / S4 HANA.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
