What you’ll do

Are you a Cloud services Architect with a passion for delivering well-designed products that people love to use? Join our dynamic team of cloud services developers as we build a cutting-edge Database as a Service. As a Cloud services architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering a scalable, secure, and highly available database solution that meets the evolving needs of our customers.

You will define the technical architecture to ensure the services are performant, highly scalable, available and meet the cloud security standards
You will be working closely with other internal teams, such as product management, designers, and end-users to ensure product success.
You will provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams and operations teams to ensure that the solutions built meet the customer and operational parameters
You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud services performance, scalability, and security and provide develop creative solutions to resolve the issues
You will develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of the services.
You will stay up to date with the latest advancements in cloud computing, database technologies, and distributed systems.

What you bring

You have a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

You have 10+ years of hands-on development experience and are proficient in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, Java

You have experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

You have experience with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and monitoring tools such as Grafana & Prometheus

You have deep knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

You have a strong passion for solving distributed systems challenges and experience working with distributed systems.

You have experience with large-scale data architecture, data modelling, database design, and information systems implementation.

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You have strong leadership skills and can provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
